You know, I decided to stay in LA until at least June to resolve some legal issues and let V finish the school year, but if I’m not gainfully employed by then, I will most likely return to NYC.
That said, I hate LA less these days. When I originally moved, I didn’t really know what I was getting into. Compared to NYC, this is the fucking suburbs and I’m definitely not a suburbanite. I am however reaping the benefits of warm weather while it’s freezing in NYC…and I’ve learned to love the little treasures that define LA…the hole in the wall cafés, public art, and the parks.
Living on my own, in a different part of town has also opened the city up to me.
My forever in the last post meant that LA just is what it is. It’s an animal all it’s own.
I’m trying to make the best of it…knowing this won’t be forever for me.
